90 Degree Butt Weld Pipe Elbow

Stainless steel 90-degree butt-weld pipe elbows are designed to create a right-angle change in direction within welded piping systems. This range of 90° butt-weld elbows is supplied in a mill finish and is available in SCH10, SCH40, and SCH80 wall thicknesses, depending on the size and stainless steel grade. Offering multiple schedule options allows the elbow wall thickness to be accurately matched to the pipe, ensuring proper fit-up, reliable weld penetration, and long-term structural integrity. The elbows are available in both Grade 304 and Grade 316 stainless steel, giving flexibility to suit different operating environments. Grade 304 stainless steel is commonly used for general industrial applications where good corrosion resistance and strength are required. Grade 316 stainless steel includes molybdenum, providing superior resistance to chlorides and aggressive media, making it ideal for marine, chemical processing, and wash-down environments.

Sizes typically range from 15NB (1/2″) through to 250NB (10″), with outside diameters manufactured to standard pipe dimensions. Standard elbows are supplied with a 1.5 × centre line radius for smooth flow, while selected sizes are also available in a tighter 1 × radius where space constraints require a more compact installation.
