Length/Height = Base Diameter

Stainless steel tube eccentric reducers are designed to provide a smooth transition between two different tube diameters while maintaining one flat side along the length of the fitting. Unlike concentric reducers, which are symmetrical around the centreline, eccentric reducers feature an offset profile that allows the top or bottom of the tube to remain level. This design is particularly beneficial in horizontal pipe or tube runs, where it helps prevent the formation of air pockets and supports proper drainage when installed with the flat side correctly oriented.

This range of tube eccentric reducers is manufactured from Grade 316 stainless steel and supplied with a satin finish. Grade 316 stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in environments exposed to moisture, chemicals, and chlorides. This makes these reducers well suited to wash-down areas, marine and coastal installations, and chemical processing applications. The satin finish provides a smooth, clean, and uniform surface that is easy to maintain, making it ideal for hygienic systems where cleanliness and appearance are important considerations.

Sizes are listed in millimetres and cover a wide range of common tube reduction combinations, allowing easy integration into standard stainless steel tube systems. As a general guide, the overall length or height of the eccentric reducer is based on the base, or larger, tube diameter. This proportional design helps ensure a gradual and efficient reduction, supporting smooth flow and reliable system performance.

Stainless steel tube eccentric reducers are widely used in food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, water treatment facilities, and general stainless steel tube fabrication. They are also commonly specified in process lines where maintaining consistent flow and avoiding trapped air or liquid is critical. For applications requiring a durable, corrosion-resistant, and well-designed tube size transition, 316 stainless steel tube eccentric reducers provide a proven and industry-standard solution.
