BSP Spring Check Valve

BSP spring check valves are designed to prevent backflow in piping systems by using a spring-loaded internal mechanism that responds quickly to changes in flow direction. When fluid flows in the correct direction, the spring compresses and allows the valve to open. As soon as flow stops or begins to reverse, the spring forces the valve closed, providing fast and reliable shut-off. This quick closure helps protect pumps, equipment, and pipework from damage caused by reverse flow, pressure spikes, or water hammer.

One of the key advantages of spring check valves is their ability to operate in almost any installation orientation.
